Revisiting the palace

Daimos, Tsukiya, and Kairi emerge from a shadowy portal in the palace courtyard. Daimos looks around distantly. "Whoa, it's been a while since I've been here...everything still looks the same too..." He says as he looks around.

Kairi walks slightly ahead of Daimos.
"Yea.....I always did love this place..."
She turns back and smiles at the two.

Tsukiya runs up next to Kairi and grabs her hand. "They're this way! In the garden! Dad says since there isn't an emperor right now, the dragons are staying at the palace. Come on!" He smiles and leads her towards the garden.

Daimos smiles and laughs slightly. He follows them into the palace then leads them towards the garden. "Even after all these years...I still know where everything is around here." He laughs slightly. He gets to the garden doors and pushes them open. They walk in and immediately see Varodas and Bahleil lying near the fountain, Bahleil's scales glistening under the moon's light. "Well, there they are, you two. Hmmm....I wonder where the other three are...." Daimos says looking around. He whistles loudly. Varodas and Bahleil raise their heads and look at him. They stand up then walk over to them. Ezrael swoops in and lands near Daimos, while Sarias and Cannus emerge from portals and stand near Tsukiya and Kairi.

Kairi laughs nervously.
"Wow.....There were only 2 last time I saw them."
She looks at them all in turn. Kairi then turns to look at Daimos.
"Is it just me, or do they all look bigger?"

"Dad said the older they get, the stronger they get. He says Sarias and Cannus are really old, that's why they're so big. So it's probably because they're getting old." Tsukiya explains as he rubs Ezrael's snout. Ezrael nudges him then slides his head under his legs, causing him to sit on his head. Ezrael raises his head again with Tsukiya sitting on his head and laughing cheerfully. Varodas walks over to Kairi and lowers his head to her. He nudges her slightly and growls lowly.
