Another Lonely Day

Cloud comes out of a portal. "It's great to be back, that 2 year training really did me some good."

Kairi laughs.
"I can't wait to see her, I'm sure she will be the most beautiful child I have ever seen."
She smiles up at him, but is distracted by someone saying something.
"Did you hear that?"

Daimos looks around then sees Cloud. "Who are you?" He asks then stands up. He looks back at Varodas. "Make sure nothing happens to her, got it?" He instructs then draws his hood over his head. Varodas stands up then lays protectively around Kairi.

Cloud notices the group and walks to them.

"Hello, how are you all?"

Daimos steps between the three of them, looking at Cloud intently. "Do you have some business here with us?"

Daimos narrows his eyes curiously then grins. "Oh right, you....it's been a while. What have you been up to?" He grins then looks over his shoulder at Varodas. He nods slightly then Varodas gets up and steps away from Kairi.

Kairi moves away from Varodas and slowly approaches the two of them.
"Cloud?...Is that you?"

Daimos looks back at her then steps aside with his arms folded.

"Yes, Kairi, yes it is. I have been gone for a while, but I did tell you and Zack, or at least Zack. Didn't I?"

Moves a step in the direction of Kairi.

She looks away sadly, a tear running down her cheek.
"No....I never heard anything from you...You just left."

"I dont know....I haven't heard from him either..."
She turns to look at him.
"How could you do that to me Cloud? How could you do that to poor little Ezra?"

Cloud kneels before Kairi

"I'm sorry, I actually came here to avow my services to you. If you wish me to, I will become your loyal servant.... and who is Ezra? Would I know who she is? Should I?"

Cloud stands up and looks Kairi in the eye with his deep blue gaze.

Daimos draws back his hood and looks at her in slight surprise. "Ezra? Who's Ezra?" He asks as he walks over to where Cloud is kneeling.

Kairi sighs and slowly shakes her head.
"Come on you two, Ill show you."
She walks over to her house and opens the front door.
"Ezra!!!! Come over here, there's some people I want you to meet!!!!"
A few bangs are heard from within the house.
"Coming!!!" A young voice shouts. A young boy is seen running over to the front door.
"There you are! You know I dont like you looking messy when there are guests!" Kairi lovingly fixes the young boy's shirt and turns back towards Daimos and Cloud.
"Ezra, these are the people I want you to meet."
She gestures towards Daimos.
"This is my very good friend, Daimos. I'm sure you will learn to love him."
She looks over at Cloud.
"And this is Cloud."
Kairi looks at Cloud carefully, then back at Ezra.
"He's your father, Ezra."

Cloud's Jaw drops

"I have a son??"

Daimos raises his eyebrow smartly and grins while folding his arms. "Well now, this is interesting." He whispers to himself.

Kairi laughs. She gently pushes Cloud's jaw back up.
"Yes darling, you have a son."

Daimos kneels down and looks at Ezra. "So you're my nephew, huh? Well, I'm your uncle Daimos, I'll have to bring Mitsuki by here so you can meet her." He says then gestures for him to come closer. "You let me know if anyone tries to give you a hard time, alright?" He grins as his eyes change to look like a cat's eyes and his teeth lengthen to fangs slightly. He winks then his eyes and teeth return to normal and he stands up.

Cloud starts pacing back and forth.

"This is unexpected, wow... I mean... I didn't know about this, i didn't even think it was going to happen.... I thought I would always be single..... Wait I still am single... wait........ did you just call me darling???"

Kairi laughs and smiles up at him.
"Of course I did, we are dating after all. Is everything alright?"

"Yes, its all-right now..... I just thought it was you and Zack, and that I was meant to be permanently single." Cloud strokes Kairi's cheek. "And are you sure you want to go out with me?"

"Of course I do Cloud."
She reaches up and places her hand on top of his.
"It will be so wonderful for Ezra to have a father figure in his life."
